Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead services, software, or solution pursuits in assigned focus areas
  • Collaborate with and support Account Managers by providing specialist services expertise
  • Drive proactive campaigns to build pipeline
  • Prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities
  • Sell services, software, or custom solutions to end-user customers and/or partners
  • Develop consultative customer proposals tailored to customer needs
  • Prospect within accounts to discover or cultivate solution sales opportunities
  • Establish trusted partnerships with Account Team members
  • Manage support contract renewal processes end to end
  • Ensure attachment of support services on product sales
  • Upsell Professional and Advanced Services
  • Sell educational services across the account base
  • Manage sales forecasts and pipeline
  • Establish consultative client relationships and understand industry-specific business needs
  • Generate leads, referrals, and new customer opportunities
  • Grow contractual renewals for accounts
  • Interface with internal, external, and industry experts to facilitate solution development
  • Build sales readiness and reduce the client learning curve through services and solution knowledge

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Typically, 3–5 years of experience in specialty sales
  • Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota, diversity of business customer, and higher-level customer interface
  • Detailed knowledge of key customer types or customers on given products
  • In-depth knowledge of products, services, solutions, and competitor differentiators
  • Specialized technical service/solution knowledge
  • Consultative selling skills
  • Solid communication and presentation skills at manager and executive level
  • Ability to conceptualize and articulate targeted specialty solutions from proposal to contract sign-off
  • Deal qualification knowledge
