About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate closely with software engineers and product managers to define test strategies
Perform in-depth testing on delivered features and bugs
Build and maintain automated test coverage for UI and API
Execute automated tests and analyze results for defects or test updates
Conduct exploratory testing to identify issues before shipping to customers
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical design discussions
Drive quality engineering best practices and continuous improvement across teams
Develop, modify, and execute software test strategies, plans, and suites
Analyze and document test results to support software debugging and modification
Consult with development engineers to resolve problems

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent practical work experience
Typically, 4-6 years’ experience with software test automation
Experience with Playwright or Selenium
Programming in Java, Typescript, or Python
Knowledge of Agile SDLC
Experience in software testing methodology, tools, test planning and test execution
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for root cause analysis
Knowledge of tools and processes for regression, scale, and performance testing
Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred: Virtualization (KVM), containers, and Kubernetes ecosystems
Preferred: Cloud platforms (VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP)
Preferred: Performance, load, security, and vulnerability testing
Preferred: AI agents and coding support
Preferred: Agile software environments
Preferred: Infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible)
