About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, automate, and execute system-level test cases focused on scale, reliability, security, and performance
Contribute to and influence the test automation strategy
Evaluate and integrate new tools to improve efficiency and coverage
Collaborate with product, development, support, and platform engineering teams on full lifecycle quality coverage
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA engineers and partners across teams
Contribute to design reviews with a QA perspective to ensure testability and risk mitigation
Help build intelligent, cloud-native platforms and cloud platform capabilities delivered as a service

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–8 years of hands-on QA experience
Experience designing and building test automation frameworks
Experience with non-functional testing, including scale, reliability, performance, and security
Strong coding skills in Python
Experience with Pytest and Playwright
Deep understanding of AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms
Experience with microservices and containers, including Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge of infrastructure and data center management
Experience with Linux/VM environments, storage, compute, and networking
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and SQL/NoSQL
Experience with KVM or VMware virtualization technologies
Familiarity with performance and load testing tools
Exposure to cloud-native testing challenges in private cloud environments
Knowledge of complete SDLC and software testing methodologies
Experience developing test strategy, test planning, and test execution
Experience with CI/CD, Git/GitLab, and Jenkins
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven experience mentoring junior team members and driving cross-functional collaboration
BS/MS degree in Science or Engineering from a recognized and accredited university/college
