About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advise partners including VARs, distributors, SIs, ISVs, and managed service providers
  • Create mutually beneficial joint business plans with partners
  • Drive HPE revenue, profitability, and pipeline through data-driven sales efforts
  • Articulate HPE global and local business strategies to partners
  • Communicate the value of HPE portfolios and solutions to differentiate HPE from competitors
  • Build partner relationships to grow HPE market share
  • Coordinate sales cadence, education, marketing, executive briefings, forecasting, business planning, and client engagements
  • Execute HPE strategy, programs, and systems with and on behalf of partners
  • Tailor HPE products, services, and technology alliances to partner customer profiles and assigned quota
  • Recruit and develop new partner relationships when needed
  • Monitor partner sales floors to help develop pipeline
  • Ensure partners understand and comply with HPE’s SBC requirements and applicable legal obligations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Typically, 4+ years of selling experience
  • Experience developing positive relationships and solving customer problems
  • Experience working with Partners/Channel required
  • Awareness of current technology trends and related HPE strategy
  • Ability to influence partners and formulate and propose sales solutions
  • Understanding of business and financial fundamentals, including income statements, balance sheets, and revenue projections
  • Understanding of HPE products and competitive differentiation
  • Understanding of partner industries, trends, competitors, and channel
  • Professional, clear, and effective verbal and written communication
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
