About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a trusted adviser to Partners and develop mutually beneficial relationships aligned with HPE business priorities
  • Drive end-to-end HPE revenue, profitability, and pipeline through joint business plans and data-driven sales efforts
  • Articulate HPE global and local business strategies to sell with, to, and through Partners
  • Develop knowledge of Partner priorities, industry trends, IT landscapes, investment strategies, HPE priorities, and technology
  • Coordinate HPE activities with Partners, leveraging HPE specialists as needed
  • Align field sales to increase pipeline, revenue, and profit growth
  • Lead HPE strategies, programs, and systems with and on behalf of Partners
  • Provide Partners with resources and guidance on emerging trends and create future plans
  • Communicate portfolio and solution value to differentiate HPE from competitors
  • Build relationships with Partners to grow HPE market share
  • Coordinate sales cadence, education, marketing, executive briefings, forecasting, business planning, and client engagements
  • Tailor selling solutions using HPE products, services, and technology alliances to achieve assigned quota
  • Recruit and develop new Partner relationships when needed
  • Monitor Partner sales floors to help develop pipeline when needed
  • Ensure Partners understand and comply with HPE's SBC requirements and applicable legal obligations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Typically, 4+ years of selling experience
  • Experience developing positive relationships and solving customer problems
  • Experience working with Partners/Channel required
  • Awareness of current technology trends and related HPE strategy
  • Understanding of business and financial fundamentals
  • Understanding of HPE products and competitive positioning
  • Understanding of partner industry, trends, competitors, and channel
  • Understanding of partner and internal business relationships and needs
  • Understanding of financial accounting concepts, including income statements, balance sheets, and revenue projections
  • Sales forecasting ability
  • Professional, clear, and effective verbal and written communication
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to innovate and take proactive steps to advance sales efforts
