About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team of individual contributors designing and developing engineering solutions
- Coordinate projects involving multiple engineering disciplines for products, systems, software, and solutions
- Manage headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs across multiple ongoing projects
- Allocate resources and ensure goals, timelines, budgets, and roadmaps are met
- Communicate project status and escalate issues to managers, program managers, and development partners
- Manage relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers
- Set expectations for deliverables, product quality, schedules, and costs
- Identify process improvement and cost-reduction opportunities
- Manage hiring, annual performance plans, coaching, and career development for assigned team members
- Support knowledge and career development tools for team and process development
Requirements
What you’ll need- First level university degree or equivalent experience required
- May have advanced university degree
- Typically 5 or more years of related work experience
- 0–2 years of people management experience
- Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team-building, and conflict resolution
- Advanced project management skills, including time and risk management, resource prioritization, and project structuring
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage human capital across geographies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence skills
- Advanced business acumen, technical knowledge, and industry experience in one or more engineering, technology, and product domains
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
- Mastery in English and local language
- Good understanding of company policies and processes
- Networking and wireless technical skills
