About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the United States and Canada as a Technology Architect within the Tech Center
  • Assist with Solution Design & Review and answer technical questions
  • Flip competitive solutions using HPE’s portfolio of products and services
  • Deliver assigned tasks within the project delivery cycle
  • Develop portions of detailed technical designs meeting customer requirements
  • Install new system applications and update applications, firmware, and drivers
  • Define boundaries and perform configuration and testing activities
  • Program assigned modules within larger applications
  • Assist with technical presentations and demonstrations
  • Participate in customer meetings
  • Work with the technical lead and customer-nominated representatives to complete assigned tasks
  • Contribute to deliverable design and development of technical solutions
  • Participate as part of a team and maintain relationships with team members and customers
  • Use and contribute to technical forums, knowledge tools, professional communities, and technical user groups

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5 years of technical experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study
  • Without a degree, two additional years of relevant professional experience (5–7 years in total)
  • Technical background with experience in IT support, development, or presales engineering
  • Sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for implementing a specific deliverable
  • Ability to contribute to deliverable design
  • Ability to perform or drive resolution of problems on individual products
  • Ability to communicate broad and specific concepts with teams and peers
  • Ability to produce documentation for team and customer use
