About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own Hex’s contracts end to end, including enterprise customer deals, vendors, AI providers, and partners
- Handle NDAs, events, sponsorships, and marketing partnerships
- Explain Hex’s data and AI practices to customers
- Negotiate agreements and identify practical paths to resolution
- Improve commercial contracting playbooks
- Partner with Legal Ops to implement AI and automation
- Serve as a trusted legal partner to cross-functional teams
- Report to the Head of Legal and work closely with Legal Ops
- Expand responsibilities as Hex grows
Requirements
What you’ll need- Licensed attorney admitted in at least one US state
- 7+ years of commercial contracting experience
- Deep B2B SaaS exposure
- Experience owning complex deals on both sides of the table
- Knowledge of data, privacy, security, and AI terms
- Experience using AI in legal work
- Strong judgment and practical advice
- Ability to build relationships across cross-functional teams
- Legally authorized to work in the US
