About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to clients, producers, and company personnel
- Support obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and servicing commercial accounts
- Plan, design, and implement insurance programs aligned with agency guidelines
- Maintain knowledge of carrier developments and Federal/State laws affecting clients
- Consult, inform, and educate clients about coverage, exclusions, exposures, and audit procedures
- Provide technical coverage and proposal support to Producers
- Prepare proposals, applications, insurance schedules, and account review materials
- Obtain client signatures and follow up with insureds and carriers for timely responses
- Remarkет and renew policies in conjunction with Producers
- Set priorities and manage workflow for efficient, timely, and accurate transaction processing
- Handle complaints, disputes, and grievances while facilitating productive client-producer relationships
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with insurance carriers
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance experience required
- Experience with Construction, Manufacturing, Non Profit, and Real Estate accounts preferred
- Active General Lines or Property & Casualty License required
- Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) or equivalent designation strongly preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Applied Epic experience preferred; knowledge of a similar Account Management System (AMS) is acceptable
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens
- Repeated use of hearing and speech to communicate on telephone and in person
- Repetitive hand movements, such as keyboarding, writing, and 10-key
- Walking, bending, sitting, reaching, and stretching in all directions
