About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help manage the month-end close, keeping deliverables accurate and on schedule
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Own assigned areas of the financial statements, ensuring balances are accurate and well supported
- Partner with the broader Finance team to resolve accounting questions and support financial reporting and audits
- Improve accounting processes, documentation, and controls as the business scales
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in general ledger accounting, with ownership of month-end close activities and account reconciliations
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statement preparation
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Collaborative, proactive approach
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
- Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate for a hybrid role
- Expected to be available during agreed working hours and maintain sufficient overlap with the relevant team’s time zone
