About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and lead Higgsfield's approach to policy across products, platform, and broader business
Advise leadership on complex policy questions and establish clear principles and decision-making frameworks as the company scales
Partner with Product, Legal, Communications, leadership, and other teams on policy, regulatory, safety, or reputational matters
Bring policy perspective to complex product and platform decisions and translate considerations into clear, actionable recommendations
Monitor regulatory, technology, and platform-policy developments relevant to Higgsfield and advise stakeholders on potential impact
Identify emerging policy risks and opportunities and help develop thoughtful positions and responses
Support external policy positioning on issues that may attract regulatory, public, or media attention
Lead and formalize the policy function as Higgsfield AI scales

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of professional experience, including at least 4 years in a substantive policy role at a relevant technology or platform company
Significant experience advising on technology, platform, product, or content-related policy issues
Experience working within or closely alongside product teams and advising on decisions with regulatory, safety, reputational, or public-policy implications
Ability to translate complex policy and regulatory developments into practical recommendations for business and product leaders
Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize multiple perspectives, identify tradeoffs, and develop clear recommendations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience communicating complex issues to senior stakeholders
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience partnering with Legal, Product, Communications, and other business teams
Experience operating independently at a senior level and taking ownership of complex, ambiguous policy issues
Team members are expected to be available during agreed working hours and maintain sufficient overlap with the relevant team’s time zone
Nice-to-have: Experience at a major social media, consumer technology, or online platform company
Nice-to-have: Experience with AI-related policy issues
Nice-to-have: Experience working in government, regulatory, or other public-sector environments
