About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build, customize, and connect systems supporting contracting, procurement, and revenue operations
  • Own Ironclad intake forms, workflows, approvals, templates, clause libraries, and agreement data
  • Manage Ironclad users, permissions, and SSO to protect confidential and privileged information
  • Maintain system documentation and scalable administration and support processes
  • Troubleshoot system issues, manage vendor escalations, and train users across teams
  • Build and maintain integrations between Ironclad, HubSpot, Ramp, Hex, and other business systems
  • Use the Ironclad API and other integration tools when native connectors are insufficient
  • Implement monitoring, error handling, retries, and operational visibility for integrations
  • Identify and automate manual workflows across Legal and other business functions
  • Develop dashboards for turnaround times, backlog, contract value, renewals, and expirations
  • Improve data quality and consistency across connected business systems
  • Build reporting for workflow performance and operational priorities
  • Run release processes including testing, owner sign-off, scheduled releases, and release notes
  • Coordinate system changes and establish standards for testing, deployment, and documentation
  • Build secure AI connections to Ironclad and other business systems
  • Partner with Legal and technical stakeholders on AI and automation use cases while maintaining access controls, confidentiality, and permissions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in Legal Systems or a similar technical operations role
  • 5+ years of experience building in Ironclad
  • Proficiency with Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, REST APIs, webhooks, and OAuth
  • Demonstrated experience building reliable integrations with monitoring, error handling, and retry logic
  • Familiarity with contracts and sound judgment when handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Strong ownership and ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills and ability to work effectively with Legal, Finance, Sales, and technical teams
  • Must be based in the United States
  • Must maintain sufficient overlap with the relevant team’s time zone and be available during agreed working hours
