About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop overall commercial and contracting strategy.
- Support contract negotiations with OEMs and EPC contractors.
- Prepare OEM commercial documentation.
- Prepare EPC tender commercial documentation.
- Support the Project Team in interpreting commercial proposals, identifying key decision criteria, assessing contractual and commercial trade-offs, and preparing recommendations for management decision-making.
- Develop bidder evaluation methodology and scoring matrix.
- Lead clarification meetings with bidders.
- Evaluate commercial offers and identify deviations.
- Review payment mechanisms, guarantees, penalties, LDs, and warranties.
- Advise on claim strategy.
- Advise on LTSA commercial structure.
- Review claims, variations, and change management procedures.
- Ensure contractual compliance with lender requirements and FIDIC principles.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven previous experience as Contracts Manager in at least 2 CCGT projects.
- Previous working experience in the power plant sector in Eastern Europe and under FIDIC principles.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
