About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, program, and commission PLC-based automation systems for industrial applications
- Prepare PLC control panel General Arrangement drawings using EPLAN and AutoCAD
- Develop and maintain Bills of Material for control panels and automation systems
- Prepare I/O Lists, I/O Mapping, and Instrument Index documents according to P&IDs
- Develop Cause & Effect matrices and interlock charts
- Prepare PLC Logic Diagrams according to Functional Design Specifications or control narratives
- Design wiring diagrams, terminal drawings, cable schedules, and loop diagrams
- Coordinate with Process, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams during project execution
- Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or related discipline
- Hands-on experience in EPLAN Electric P8 and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, ABB PLC systems etc.
- Experience in preparation of GA, BOM, I/O List, Cause & Effect and Logic Diagrams
- Knowledge of panel design, field instrumentation and industrial communication protocols
- Understanding of IEC/IS standards and engineering documentation
- 3-4 years’ experience in DCS, SCADA, PLC panels, process industries, oil & gas
