About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify and evaluate new development opportunities by reviewing site materials, conducting preliminary market and brand assessments, analyzing data, and coordinating with internal stakeholders
Coordinate development pipeline reporting, transaction materials, and internal diligence documentation across cross-functional stakeholders
Use business intelligence tools to research markets, analyze performance data, and uncover development opportunities or restrictions
Create visual presentations for the Development team
Pull, research, or enter data into complex spreadsheets and databases and synthesize it into client- and executive-facing narratives
Organize internal and external meetings, conferences, and owner presentations
Maintain relationships with Legal, Business Analytics, AD&C, Operations, Feasibility, Brand, Communications, Commercial, Marketing, Loyalty, and other Hilton departments
Assemble and circulate data and analyses related to growth and pace
Conduct market, competitor, and brand positioning analyses supporting underwriting, feasibility, and development strategy
Coordinate analytics contributions to development events and conferences
Coordinate assembly and distribution of deal informational packets
Establish procedures and processes to support development goals

Requirements

What you’ll need

Two (2) years of work experience in analytics, real estate development, hospitality, consulting, investment analysis, or related field
Advanced proficiency with Salesforce, STR, COGNOS, Co-Star, ArcGIS, and complex databases
High proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel
Travel up to 30%
Onsite in McLean, VA
Experience using Lodging Econometrics would be useful
Understanding of hotel metrics and the hotel branded landscape in the US and Canada would be useful
BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree would be useful
