About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver OTC processes according to agreed timetables and Service Level Agreements
  • Support Hilton’s Centre of Excellence in providing an efficient, seamless, customer-focused service
  • Identify opportunities to maximise process efficiency and effectiveness
  • Support OTC strategies and day-to-day team activities
  • Interpret business metrics within the OTC area and make recommendations
  • Support review, refinement, and ongoing monitoring of OTC Service Level Agreements
  • Research AR or guest disputes and compile supporting documentation
  • Engage property teams to resolve disputes, issues, and queries
  • Determine with the Team Leader whether adjustments are required
  • Prepare and post adjusting entries
  • Maintain dispute-resolution documentation, records, collections files, and call logs according to Hilton standards
  • Follow up on outstanding group master and convention-related payments
  • Review and verify bills issued to group masters or convention clients
  • Assess collections status and present write-off recommendations under credit procedures
  • Review Booking Deposit Reports and bank statements for advanced deposits
  • Prepare deposit postings and confirm successful posting
  • Support special OTC Hotel Accounting initiatives
  • Report results and explain findings to others

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience working in a compliant controls environment
  • Good technical skills and understanding of how OTC impacts other accounting areas
  • Developing problem-solving skills and ability to address issues collaboratively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience communicating with all levels of management and external customers
  • Customer-service orientation and ability to build, manage, and maintain relationships at all organisational levels
  • Flexible, ‘can-do’ approach and ability to drive and adapt to change
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple concurrent demands, and prioritise responsibilities
  • Good knowledge of finance modules in an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft
  • Preferred: Good knowledge of PeopleSoft and/or similar accounting packages and Essbase
  • Preferred: Hospitality industry experience
  • Preferred: Previous experience in a professional corporate environment
