About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support normal operations and major projects providing identity and access management services across the enterprise
  • Develop, test, debug, and document platform operations and application integrations
  • Develop and implement authentication and identity operating standards
  • Develop tools and scripts to increase automation and streamline operations
  • Manage PingFederate and PingDirectory platforms providing LDAP, SAML, and OAuth services
  • Evolve Single Sign-On and LDAP services to improve resiliency and business continuity
  • Resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and improve service quality
  • Complete SAML, OAuth, and OIDC application onboarding through requirements analysis, design, implementation, and operational stages
  • Build relationships across the Technology Directory and Collaboration Services team and the broader Infrastructure community
  • Learn system interdependencies and recommend opportunities to evolve and streamline operations
  • Create proactive processes to improve uptime and system processing
  • Report to the Senior Manager of Directory Services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Five (5) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Three (3) years of experience working with PingFederate and PingDirectory or comparable identity federation and directory solutions
  • Experience coding in OGNL
  • Experience with Java development
  • Technical knowledge of operating platforms including Windows, UNIX, and Active Directory
  • Must be near the Dallas or Memphis office location for this hybrid role
  • Willing to travel up to 15%
  • Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Technology-related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology-related experience
  • Seven (7)+ years of professional work experience in Technology or related field preferred
  • Five (5)+ years of direct experience with Ping, LDAP, and directory structures preferred
  • Three (3)+ years of experience with a Java application server such as WebLogic, WebSphere, GlassFish, or Apache Tomcat preferred
  • Experience developing or implementing web interfaces using SOAP, CGI, or REST preferred
  • Experience with the Atlassian Collaboration Stack preferred
  • Experience with markup languages such as XML and XHTML preferred
  • Experience with multi-factor authentication solutions preferred
