About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide Revenue Accounting services to a portfolio of assigned hotels across the Middle East and Africa
  • Review and validate revenue postings and prepare Daily Income Audit Reports
  • Review and approve reports within the Daily Income Audit bundle
  • Follow up with hotel teams to ensure required documentation is uploaded to Docuware and approvals are in place
  • Post revenue and process re-allocations for assigned properties based on authorized finance lead requests
  • Reconcile revenue-related taxes and ensure timely reporting to hotels for government submissions
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for revenue-related accounts
  • Reconcile daily credit card activity and post related receipts
  • Investigate and resolve credit card reconciliation variances with COE and hotel teams
  • Identify process improvement and automation opportunities to increase efficiency and standardization
  • Support additional tasks and initiatives as required by business needs
  • Report to the Revenue Accounting Supervisor
  • Work with hotel teams remotely; the role has no direct reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Accounting knowledge, with a focus on Revenue Accounting principles
  • Familiarity with finance systems such as Navision and OnQ/OA
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with hotel teams and internal stakeholders
  • Process improvement mindset, including identifying efficient working methods and automation opportunities
  • Inquisitive and proactive, with willingness to learn, ask questions, and challenge existing practices
  • Well organized, able to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure
  • Strong team player able to collaborate in-office and remotely with hotel teams
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to multiple systems
  • Minimum education: High school graduate
  • Relevant experience as a General Accountant or Income Auditor
  • University graduate and/or accounting qualification preferred
  • Experience working at Hilton or another large hotel chain preferred
  • Additional languages such as French or Arabic are an advantage
