Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support timely and efficient management of group leads and sales opportunities
  • Help convert tentative opportunities into definite bookings through accurate contracting processes
  • Identify opportunities to optimize meeting space utilization and group profitability
  • Deliver reporting and analytics supporting commercial strategy and business planning
  • Streamline processes, maintain systems, and support sales technology initiatives
  • Provide accurate data, reporting, and business insights to commercial leaders
  • Attend scheduled Sales Department and related meetings
  • Support Group Sales Managers with lead management, contract reviews, and conversion efforts
  • Collaborate with Event Managers on meeting space utilization, booking adjustments, and post-event performance
  • Align group opportunities with property revenue strategies
  • Support Marketing, Commercial leadership, and Property Operations teams
  • Maintain and improve lead management and sales reporting processes
  • Coordinate group pace, booking activity, and production tracking tools
  • Manage weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual commercial reporting updates
  • Support meeting space optimization initiatives to maximize revenue and protect future availability
  • Assist with system implementations, upgrades, training, and process improvement projects
  • Conduct post-event business analysis to identify trends and profitability opportunities
  • Develop administrative tools, templates, and reporting resources
  • Support forecasting, need periods, sales strategy execution, and performance measurement projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Three (3) years of hotel experience
  • Experience using Delphi.fdc, including managing bookings, group sales, events, reporting, or related sales processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Microsoft Excel skills for reporting, data analysis, and spreadsheet management
  • Knowledge of the travel industry, current market trends, and economic factors
  • Travel up to 15% of the time
  • Knowledge of Amaze, Topline and STR Reporting (useful)
  • Local market knowledge (useful)
