About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own global compensation strategy end-to-end, including base pay structures, incentive design, and equity programs across all levels and geographies
- Design and lead the annual compensation cycle, including merit, bonus, and equity refresh
- Partner with Senior Leadership on executive and board compensation, proxy disclosures, and pay governance for a publicly traded company
- Build and maintain competitive market pricing, salary structures, and leveling frameworks
- Lead pay equity analysis and reporting across jurisdictions
- Advise on offer structuring, promotions, and internal equity for critical and executive-level hires
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes, including pay transparency, minimum wage, and equity taxation
- Build scalable tools, dashboards, and processes for self-serve compensation data and insights
- Manage and mentor a growing team of compensation professionals
- Act as the compensation subject-matter expert across the company
- Partner with People, Finance, Legal, business leaders, People Business Partners, and Senior Leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of progressive compensation experience
- 3+ years leading a compensation function at a high-growth or publicly traded company
- Deep expertise in executive compensation
- Deep expertise in equity administration
- Experience supporting Compensation Committees
- Track record of designing and running compensation cycles
- Experience with job architecture and leveling frameworks at scale
- Strong command of multi-state and international pay transparency requirements
- Strong command of pay equity requirements
- Excellent analytical skills
- Fluency with compensation data, market surveys such as Radford and Mercer, and modeling tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience partnering with Legal and Finance on SEC disclosures and public company compensation governance is a strong plus
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction for any employer
- Must not require immigration sponsorship by Hims & Hers to work in the U.S.
