About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead R&D Enablement initiatives and treat internal developer experience as a product
- Define the R&D Enablement strategy and expand support to Product Managers and Designers through AI-powered tools and streamlined workflows
- Oversee the roadmap for Service Enablement, Mobile App Enablement, Platform Quality, and SRE pods
- Lead AI adoption, velocity and local iteration, quality engineering, instrumentation and observability, and knowledge management initiatives
- Manage platform backlogs and prioritize technical investments against business value with Engineering Managers
- Track DXI, PR Throughput, DORA metrics, and MTTR
- Conduct quarterly DX surveys and listening tours, translating feedback into product requirements
- Translate strategy into quarterly roadmaps
- Lead rollout of a unified Developer Experience Platform
- Optimize the mobile/frontend developer experience for the Phoenix application stack and release processes
- Drive adoption of documentation, deep work, and paved-road practices
- Partner with Security and Infrastructure teams to balance speed, compliance, and reliability
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of Product Management experience
- Strong preference for experience with Internal Developer Platforms, DevOps tools, or B2B technical products
- Technical fluency in CI/CD pipelines, microservices architecture, AWS cloud infrastructure, and mobile release cycles
- Experience using DORA, SPACE, or DevEx metrics
- Strong technical program management skills
- Proven ability to drive adoption of new tools and processes across a large, distributed engineering organization
- Working knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, TypeScript, React Native, Kafka, and DataDog is preferred
- Familiarity with Backstage (Mission Control) or similar internal developer portals is preferred
- Experience implementing GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Glean in an enterprise environment is preferred
- Background in SRE or Platform Engineering principles is preferred
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
