About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead architecture and end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-service Member Records initiatives from discovery through production
Define and advance multi-quarter technical direction for Member Records
Establish technical patterns for APIs, domain models, integrations, testing, observability, and secure member-data handling
Build production software across user interfaces, backend services, APIs, and data models
Partner with Product, Design, Clinical, Quality, and adjacent engineering teams
Turn complex healthcare workflows into reliable, intuitive experiences
Mentor and support junior engineers through code reviews and pairing
Integrate and leverage AI technologies to automate processes and enhance product features
Raise engineering quality through design and code reviews, pairing, mentoring, hiring participation, and coaching
Define health metrics, improve incident response, and address root causes
Own work from discovery and technical design through implementation, launch, and operational support

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical degree
9+ years of professional software engineering experience, with meaningful experience delivering production software
3+ years hands-on experience with TypeScript and modern React application development
3+ years backend experience with Node.js, service development, API design, and integration patterns
1+ years of experience mentoring and leading junior team members, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to project planning and decision-making
Experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor
Strong experience with backend technologies such as NodeJS and RDBMS
Exposure to microservices, distributed systems, and containerization
Experience owning features from technical design through launch and ongoing production support
Strong understanding of testing, observability, performance, availability, and secure development practices
Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly to technical and non-technical partners
Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment
Familiarity with AI-assisted software development or integrating AI capabilities into production workflows
Willingness to work from the Bengaluru office 3 days a week
Applicants should be open to late-evening meetings following India Standard Time
