About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the end-to-end inbound process for international products
  • Establish operating rhythms, responsibilities, escalation paths, and regular inbound reporting
  • Build relationships with international vendors, customs broker, logistics partners, and Hardware Operations stakeholders
  • Review product flows, customs and duty requirements, HS-code usage, commercial documentation, and invoice-validation practices
  • Identify and address process gaps and risks affecting product timing, cost, documentation quality, and vendor execution
  • Coordinate vendors and customs broker to resolve documentation, classification, duty, and clearance issues
  • Ensure commercial documents contain accurate information, HS codes, and supporting details
  • Validate invoices against pricing, shipment information, and supporting documentation; escalate discrepancies
  • Partner with logistics and Hardware Operations to improve handoffs and reduce delays
  • Track vendor performance and drive corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, operating procedures, and controls
  • Identify cost-reduction, vendor-performance, and predictability improvements
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives supporting supply chain operations and new product or hardware programs
  • Travel locally to vendors when needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or program management, including international inbound products and vendors
  • Working knowledge of customs and duties processes, HS codes, and supporting commercial documentation
  • Experience managing cross-functional operational processes from vendor coordination through inbound receipt and invoice validation
  • Experience supporting medical devices or other regulated products (preferred)
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 or similar quality-management systems (preferred)
  • Experience negotiating vendor contracts or pricing, or implementing cost-reduction initiatives (preferred)
  • Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems, such as NetSuite or similar tools (preferred)
  • Proficiency with Excel or similar tools for operational tracking, analysis, and reporting (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Linear or comparable project-management tools (preferred)
  • Mandarin fluency and experience communicating with vendors or teams in Asia (preferred)
  • Willingness to work from the San Francisco office 3 days a week for a full typical business day
  • Located in or willing to relocate to the SF Bay Area
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to travel locally to vendors when needed
