About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive the technical direction of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform initiatives
- Lead a team of 4–8 developers, mentor talent, and deliver scalable solutions
- Architect and implement tailored Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions
- Lead design, development, and deployment of bespoke applications and integrations
- Provide hands-on developer support and guidance
- Own the full software development lifecycle from design through support
- Ensure SDLC stages are documented, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards
- Collaborate with SRE and support teams for operational handovers
- Line manage and coach developers; oversee performance and career development
- Manage third-party resources for burst capacity
- Establish and enforce development standards and processes
- Translate stakeholder requirements into technical designs and delivery plans
- Facilitate workshops and technical discovery
- Contribute to platform strategy, roadmap, and architecture forums
- Own release management, environment strategy, and DevOps automation
- Embed security and compliance across Power Platform/D365 delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Expertise in Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365
- Experience with .NET development is a plus
- Ability to mentor and influence engineers and manage technical teams
- Comfortable with hands-on development and full lifecycle ownership
- Broad technical background beyond certifications, with real-world delivery experience
- Certification such as Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solution Architect is advantageous
- Based in the Lisbon office
- Prepared to travel to the UK York office
