About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, govern, and evolve end-to-end technology solutions supporting Digital Experience and the API integration layer in the insurance value chain
- Support portals and user interfaces for customers and Agent communities
- Drive Digital Experience transformation across the US organization
- Partner with business leaders, product owners, engineering teams, and third-party vendors
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards
- Interact with technical engineers and senior executive stakeholders, adapting communication style to stakeholder needs
- Own architecture strategy and design for complex programs of work
- Communicate technical, architectural, functional, impact, and risk elements to technical and non-technical audiences
- Document and develop As-Is, Transformation, and End-State/To-Be architecture artifacts
- Defend solutions before local and enterprise Architecture Review Boards
- Validate architecture artifacts against current implementations and assess impacts of changes
- Engage business domain experts and use business-domain language to convey concepts and recommendations
- Assist technical teams in delivering solutions, including understanding testing requirements and participating in solution development using AI and UX/CX technologies
- Provide guidance to solution and technical architects on complex architecture issues
- Review other architects’ solutions and ensure alignment with program goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in solution, systems, or enterprise architecture
- 5+ years of experience in insurance technology environments
- Strong knowledge of current UX/CX tooling, patterns and testing methodologies
- Experience with Core Insurance Platforms
- Demonstrable practical experience and understanding of best practice architecture principles
- Strong communication, storytelling and presentation skills
- Ability to engage, influence and motivate stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in an Agile software development environment
- Strong software engineering or lead developer experience, with ability to apply that experience to Solution Architecture
- Track record of managing architecture for multiple change projects/programs in a complex environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and contribute in a team
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
- Cooperative, flexible, and able to work well with others
