About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify vulnerabilities
- Help clients improve their security through IT emergency plans, restart and recovery plans, and data backup strategies
- Contribute to security incident response and recovery procedures, as well as cloud emergency response measures
- Support clients in ensuring business continuity
- Conduct security awareness workshops, IT emergency exercises, and failover and functional tests
- Gain insight into adjacent fields such as information security and third-party risk management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Practical experience in systems integration, such as data center administration or IT service delivery at a systems integrator; alternatively, a degree in IT, such as Computer Science, Business Informatics, Cybersecurity Management, or a related field
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and IT operations
- Initial experience in IT emergency management or ITIL-compliant operational processes
- Motivation to become familiar with complex subject areas
- Pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Confident and persuasive manner
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in German
- Willingness to apply even without meeting every preferred qualification and to develop missing skills on the job
