About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct web, mobile application, and infrastructure penetration tests, as well as Red Team engagements, remotely and on-site at client locations
- Assess networks, systems, and applications to identify vulnerabilities at an early stage
- Prepare detailed project reports and explain test results
- Advise clients and recommend ways to improve their IT security
- Learn about new topics and emerging technologies
- Develop and enhance internal tools and systems
- Identify and develop new tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
- Participate in conferences, training sessions, knowledge-sharing activities, and internal CTF and HackTheBox sessions
- Gain exposure to and provide support in adjacent areas such as incident response, digital forensics, and configuration audits
- Contribute ideas for new projects
- Establish and expand client relationships
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of experience and broad technical knowledge of networks, operating systems, cloud platforms, Active Directory, databases, firewalls, and web technologies, including their common security issues
- Experience with intercepting proxies, such as Burp Suite
- Experience with C2 frameworks, such as Cobalt Strike
- Experience with vulnerability scanners
- Experience with common operating systems
- Willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with new tools
- Experience preparing reports and presentations in German
- Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and effectively
- University degree or professional experience in this field
- Relevant industry certifications or demonstrated self-taught expertise
- Motivation to develop specialized expertise in this field
