About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and manage end-to-end tender and proposal activities across the APAC region
  • Partner with Sales teams to define commercial strategy and delivery approach
  • Participate in bid qualification and go/no-go decision processes
  • Facilitate collaboration among Sales, Finance, Legal, Engineering, Product Management, Delivery, and other stakeholders
  • Consolidate and coordinate proposal content for accuracy, consistency, and compliance
  • Review commercial terms, conditions, and contractual obligations
  • Support commercial negotiations by identifying risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies
  • Own bid risk management, including tracking, assessment, and escalation
  • Develop pricing models, cost estimates, and profitability analyses
  • Prepare management summaries, executive presentations, and approval materials
  • Ensure proposals follow branding, quality, and governance standards
  • Identify customer value drivers and competitive differentiators for bid-win strategies
  • Support internal governance, approval workflows, and bidding-related administration
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple countries and time zones as part of a global team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Commerce, Economics, or a related field
  • Experience in commercial operations, bid management, proposal management, tendering, sales operations, contract management, or a related commercial function
  • Strong commercial acumen, including understanding of revenue, pricing, profitability, costing, and business models
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex costing, pricing, and financial models
  • Experience identifying and evaluating commercial, contractual, and business risks
  • Ability to review and interpret contractual terms and conditions and work with Legal teams
  • Strong project management and coordination capabilities
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working in a multicultural, regional, or global environment is highly desirable
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across functions and geographies
  • Strong business and commercial judgment
  • Executive presence and confidence engaging with senior leadership
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Attention to detail and ability to see the bigger business picture
