About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the provision of contract management services to local factories.
Ensure contract management activities follow Company and BU Contract Management Guidelines under the HUB Contract Manager.
Govern the local contract portfolio according to contract and claim management methodologies and internal standards.
Review and comment on commercial and technical tender terms and conditions.
Cooperate with sales to define contract strategy and participate in customer negotiations.
Support sales during contractual risk reviews and present contractual terms and conditions.
Identify contract baselines and potential risks from project kick-off through closure.
Support Project Management in developing and implementing risk mitigation and opportunity plans.
Support verification that contractual obligations are fulfilled during contract closure.
Assess contract success, identify lessons learned, and document closeout deficiencies.
Support Project Management with claims and defend Hitachi Energy's contractual interests against customers and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Law.
Experience of minimum 10 years in contract management/legal in EP/EPC energy company or similar industrial plants.
Experience in working within internationally staffed teams and with international contractual partners.
Experience in negotiation, claim management, and contract-related issues.
Experience in working in a multicultural environment and commercial mindset with knowledge in business risks.
Strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills with systematic and structured work style.
Ability to negotiate in English, fluency in written and spoken English and Turkish.
Compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
