About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Guarantee delivery of system and subsystem signalling solutions in compliance with requirements, quality, schedule, and budget
  • Define Signalling system and subsystem Validation Test Specifications and implement V&V activities according to RAMS governance and company processes
  • Deliver project V&V documents at system and subsystem level in cooperation with RAMS functions, Engineering, Operation & Maintenance, and external suppliers
  • Support V&V activities during project, bidding, and delivery phases
  • Participate in signalling V&V planning, supplier design reviews, and field tests
  • Support subsystem suppliers in providing V&V evidence
  • Deliver the Signalling system and subsystem V&V report
  • Ensure independence in defining and implementing V&V activities in compliance with applicable standards and SILs
  • Provide technical support to RAMS Managers for managing interfaces with Independent Safety Assessors, Employers, and External Authorities
  • Provide schedule and cost progress updates to the relevant RAMS Manager
  • Define requirements and expected features for testing environments and tools needed for signalling validation activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Up to 5 years of RAMS and/or V&V experience
  • Availability to short travels
  • Desired past experience with testing and validation activities of ERTMS systems
  • Proficiency in application of Testing and Validation Process for complex systems, preferably railway systems, in compliance with EN50128
  • Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or Information Technology
  • Fluent Knowledge of English (written & spoken)
  • Compliance with project schedules
  • Cost and quality of deliverables based on budget adherence and client/assessor compliance
  • Effective support to PE/WPL SIG, RAMS Manager, and SiG RAMS
