About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operationalize and maintain the IT Governance framework
- Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of IT governance policies and processes
- Drive continuous improvement and simplification of governance
- Support consistent governance application across IT
- Maintain governance bodies, mandates, decision rights, policies and procedures
- Coordinate governance forums and ensure decisions and actions are followed through
- Assess governance effectiveness and identify gaps, overlaps or unnecessary complexity
- Update policies and governance mechanisms based on organizational or operating-model changes
- Support IT departments in applying governance requirements
- Ensure governance expectations are reflected in interactions with strategic vendors and service providers
- Coordinate with IT Leadership, Architecture, PPM, Risk & Compliance, Cybersecurity and other IT Governance stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of professional working experience in IT Governance area
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks and organizational decision structures
- Strong analytical and process improvement capabilities
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to influence across organizational boundaries without direct authority
- Successful completion of applicable pre-employment background checks and security screenings
- Consent to background or security checks where required
