About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the Cybersecurity Director with day-to-day activities by executing assigned tasks, tracking action items, and supporting Cybersecurity Awareness, Training and Communication and general Cybersecurity initiatives
  • Track assigned tasks, document meeting notes and metrics, and support regular status reporting
  • Participate in Cybersecurity and Cybersecurity Awareness and Training initiatives through research, information collection, input coordination, and execution support
  • Provide operational and analytical support, including task coordination, research, data collection, metric analysis, and progress tracking
  • Draft, update, format, maintain, and publish Cybersecurity Awareness and Training materials, internal website content, user instructions, documentation, and compliance programs
  • Organize, update, and version-control Cybersecurity documentation, web content, and training records
  • Develop training content, presentation materials, and support documentation as directed by the Cybersecurity Director

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous internship experience in Cybersecurity and IT is desired
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in Cybersecurity is strongly desired
  • 1+ years of experience working in cybersecurity awareness, training and communication or related field
  • Experience working in Project Management and Planning Projects
  • Knowledge and understanding of Cybersecurity fundamentals
  • Knowledge and understanding of Project Management fundamentals including Agile Methodology
  • Exceptional communication skills to clearly articulate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability without close supervision
  • Strong organizational skills to plan, manage, and execute awareness campaigns and project-related work
  • Ability to independently plan, prioritize, and execute work based on objectives, milestones, and deadlines
  • Analytical approach to challenges and ability to drive practical, effective solutions
