About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define, cost, and deliver AC Protection and Control solutions for tender work and execution projects
- Translate customer specifications and protection schemes into conceptual designs
- Formulate clear requirements for sub-suppliers
- Evaluate sub-supplier quotes
- Monitor design and manufacturing processes
- Lead design teams in discussions with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Review detailed protection panel designs, interfaces, and intercommunication links
- Ensure compatibility between functional requirements, panel design, relay configuration, and settings before FAT
- Review supplier test programs and supervise Factory Acceptance Testing
- Remotely assist installation and Site Acceptance Testing as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Technical responsibility for definition, costing and delivery of AC Protection and Control solutions in tender work and execution projects
- Experience translating customer specifications and protection schemes into conceptual design
- Ability to formulate clear requirements for sub-suppliers
- Ability to evaluate sub-supplier quotes based on specified requirements and future design
- Experience monitoring design and manufacturing processes
- Experience leading design teams in dialogue with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Experience reviewing detailed protection panel design, interfaces to main components, and intercommunication links
- Knowledge of functional requirements, panel design, relay configuration, and settings
- Experience preparing for and supervising Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
- Ability to remotely assist installation and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) as needed
