About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support requirements management, including identification and apportionment between GA and SA, across all software lifecycle phases according to IMS company standards
Contribute to the design and implementation of complete solutions, including modules, documentation and tools
Contribute to correct software operation on applicable platforms
Provide appropriate support to functional units including RAMS, Verification, Test and Commissioning
Apply common methodologies, technical solutions and best practices in coordination with the Development function and IMS company processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-5 years of experience in the broad spectrum of the software developer life-cycle
Significant experience building enterprise class, multi-process, fault tolerant load balanced and multi-tiered systems
Expert level C++ programming skills leveraging advanced language constructs
Experience applying Object-Oriented Design principles and patterns
Extensive knowledge of developing software in a Linux environment, including writing and modifying shell scripts
Strong diagnostic and analytical skills
Experience with continuous integration, static code analysis, branching, versioning and DevOps
Ability to handle a dynamic environment with parallel responsibilities and competing priorities
Ability to balance speed and perfection without compromising quality
Ability to energize team members while also working independently
Lifelong learner who shares and teaches knowledge
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience implementing and sustaining mission critical enterprise systems
Master/Bachelor degree in Computer, Electronics, Telecommunications or Automation Engineering, or Informatics
English at upper intermediate level required
