About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Director of Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team in ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Manage and maintain the Title 31 Compliance Program
  • Ensure accurate capture of currency transactions, daily audits, and timely filing of Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs)
  • Support the Know Your Customer (KYC) program, including patron reviews and risk rating
  • Conduct AML investigations, including customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD)
  • Analyze exception reports and transaction discrepancies and recommend actions to leadership
  • Develop monitoring criteria with internal teams for detecting unusual activity
  • Identify and investigate suspicious activities using system data and prepare detailed SAR narratives
  • Provide guidance to internal and external partners regarding AML obligations
  • Assist with AML audits and regulatory reporting
  • Support development of AML programs, training materials, and system capabilities
  • Conduct routine assessments of Responsible Gaming compliance with Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission standards
  • Assist with compliance investigations, audits, and special projects
  • Maintain confidential and accurate records and adherence to company policies and regulatory standards
  • Perform data entry, scanning, file maintenance, and report preparation
  • Foster positive team member relations and cross-department collaboration
  • Maintain professional appearance, ethics, and demeanor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be 19 years of age or older
  • Two (2) years of experience in gaming, banking, or auditing preferred
  • College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Title 31 and the Bank Secrecy Act preferred
  • Strong problem-solving, mediation, and consulting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database research
  • Ability to sustain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening
  • May be subject to random drug screenings during employment
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
  • Travel is primarily local, with some out-of-area and overnight travel possible
