Key responsibilities & impact

Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules to maintain assigned areas
Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove trash
Safely operate vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
Maintain an organized storage area for cleaning supplies and tools
Use cleaning chemicals according to safety standards and manufacturer instructions
Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to supervisors
Ensure compliance with facility cleaning standards, safety regulations, and company policies
Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and priorities

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior custodial or janitorial experience; healthcare or medical setting experience preferred
Knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, and proper storage and disposal practices
Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
Ability to work in a custodial and facility setting
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening; subject to random drug screenings during employment
