About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Practice, support, and uphold the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming
  • Supervise and direct the daily activities of Environmental Services team members
  • Assign daily work responsibilities and inspect completed work for quality and compliance
  • Conduct routine inspections of public areas, offices, hallways, stairwells, restrooms, and VIP areas
  • Lead daily pre-shift meetings and communicate operational priorities
  • Ensure cleaning equipment, carts, and supplies are properly maintained, stocked, and safely used
  • Coordinate preventative cleaning schedules and special projects
  • Work closely with the Facilities Department to submit and monitor work orders through completion
  • Respond promptly to guest and team member concerns regarding cleanliness or maintenance
  • Train, coach, and mentor EVS team members on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company policies
  • Monitor inventory and proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Complete inspections, reports, and required departmental documentation accurately
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safe handling procedures
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and performance evaluations of team members
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, company safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be 19 years of age or older
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience in a high-volume hospitality, hotel, casino, or similar environment preferred
  • Previous casino or resort experience strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable software
  • Knowledge of commercial cleaning products, equipment, and proper chemical usage
  • Ability to obtain OSHA 10 Certification
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License
  • Flexibility to work swing shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb stairs
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and machinery
  • Ability to work around cleaning chemicals, dust, noise, temperature changes, secondhand smoke, and other environmental conditions common in a casino setting
  • Ability to maintain concentration while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Possess visual, hearing, and sensory abilities necessary to safely perform assigned duties
  • Valid Driver's License preferred
