Key responsibilities & impact

Install and inspect components relating to sheetrock, fireplaces, kitchen soffits, stairways and door preparation
Install components within a controlled environment
Identify materials needed using purchase orders
Ensure compliance with appropriate codes
Maintain inventory, tools and supplies
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
Work safely and follow all safety policies, including wearing appropriate PPE
Maintain favorable working relationships with employees
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, blueprints, floor plans and work orders
Understanding of standard workflow and time frames for each project stage
Proficient knowledge of tape measure, hammer, drill, level, saw, nail gun, staple gun, screw gun and framing square
Strict attention to detail and order accuracy
Ability to perform physical work overhead for extended periods
Ability to use mathematics and measuring devices to calculate length, width, height and depth
Ability to follow written and spoken instructions
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds comfortably and consistently
Valid driver’s license
Excellent stamina, manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination
