Key responsibilities & impact

Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules to maintain assigned areas
Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
Perform dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
Operate vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners safely and effectively
Maintain an organized storage area for cleaning supplies and tools
Use cleaning chemicals according to safety standards and manufacturer instructions
Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to supervisors
Ensure compliance with facility cleaning standards, safety regulations, and company policies
Coordinate tasks and priorities with supervisors and team members

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior custodial or janitorial experience
Knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, and proper storage and disposal practices
Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening
May be subject to random drug screenings during employment
