About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise and support Security Team Members during assigned shifts
  • Ensure company policies, gaming regulations, and legal requirements are consistently enforced
  • Assist with investigations involving guests, team members, incidents, and property-related matters
  • Identify, assess, and respond to potential safety and security risks
  • Protect company assets, guests, and team members through proactive security measures
  • Detain individuals when probable cause exists and coordinate with law enforcement and gaming officials when necessary
  • Maintain and monitor company-wide key control procedures
  • Prepare accurate reports and documentation regarding incidents and investigations
  • Respond to emergencies and provide leadership during critical situations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • Associate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum three (3) years of security-related experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License
  • Valid driver's license
  • CPR Certification or ability to obtain certification
  • Previous casino, gaming, hospitality, or resort security experience preferred
  • Experience supervising teams in a high-volume environment preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
  • Ability to navigate stairs, confined spaces, and large facilities
  • Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to work around secondhand smoke and moderate to high noise levels
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require
