About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure functional system performance, accurate documentation, safety compliance, and stakeholder coordination
- Understand project requirements, sequences of operation, programming, and system types
- Assist with onsite performance verification and system functionality confirmation
- Update wiring diagrams, sequence changes, DDC and PLC programs, HMIs, and displays
- Maintain commissioning documentation and collaborate with the programming team on project closeout
- Develop and maintain project plans using Smartsheet, MS Project, Procore, CX Alloy, or similar platforms
- Set up progress dashboards, automated workflows, and performance reports
- Facilitate communication among project stakeholders to meet project milestones
- Generate analytical reports on project metrics, financial data, and performance
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, forecast delays or budget impacts, and implement corrective actions
- Manage building automation and construction projects from initiation through closeout
- Coordinate subcontractors and internal teams while managing scope, schedule, and budget objectives
- Assist with field-level integrations involving ModBus, BACnet, LON, OPC, Tridium, Fieldserver, ModScan, and Wireshark
- Conduct site visits, monitor progress, and resolve technical issues with specialized field teams
- Adhere to safety training and PPE requirements
- Monitor, document, and report performance against established KPIs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Data Analytics or related field required
- Experience managing construction or building automation/controls projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, and subcontractor management
- Strong familiarity with electrical and mechanical installation practices and commissioning processes in a building technologies environment
- Proficiency with Smartsheet or similar project management platforms, including complex project plans, reports, dashboards, and automated workflows
- Ability to use project data and analytics to manage risk, forecast outcomes, and drive corrective actions
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks across several active projects
- OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% to job sites and customer locations
- Must be able to drive company vehicle
- Site Safety trained and HSI Safety enrollment
