About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Proactively monitor trends in vehicle maintenance for specific accounts and geographic markets
- Build and analyze standard and ad-hoc reports
- Analyze data and make recommendations to customers and leadership for cost-saving initiatives
- Coordinate with fleet managers, vendors, and manufacturers to resolve truck malfunctions effectively
- Act as a technical consultant to fleet managers and service technicians for complex solutions
- Review and issue non-standard purchase orders to protect customer interests
- Support the technical resource center by assisting customers and vendors
- Review and improve processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and security
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferred
- ASE or other industry certification preferred
- Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint, etc.)
- 5-10 years’ experience in the automotive or transportation industry
- Advanced technical knowledge
- Understanding of automotive repair industry processes
- Knowledge of Holman Fleet & Mobility’s programs preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong research and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to summarize and express information and ideas clearly and in an organized manner
- Ability to interact and work with employees at all levels, including business units and executive management
- Ability to explain complex concepts to non-specialists
- Ability to investigate non-standard requests with assistance as needed
- Ability to gather, clarify, and apply information to provide timely and effective responses
- Ability to work independently or with others to achieve team goals
