About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with Product Managers to develop Product Strategy and advance HBT Strategic Digital Goals
Conduct product planning, design, and quality management for Digital Valuestream releases
Plan, groom, and prioritize the product backlog for maximum value and timely sprint delivery
Act as the voice of the business and customer to the product team
Resolve or escalate team impediments and identify innovative solutions through procurement or development
Ensure backlog items meet definitions of ready and done
Present and demonstrate features and functionality to leaders and large organizations
Improve agile processes and product-team effectiveness
Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver consumer software and services
Define use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, product requirements, and customer experience designs
Collect and document customer and product requirements from the field
Prepare user stories for sprints and releases through planning, grooming, and prioritization
Guide the development process and align stakeholders on the right solution
Analyze customer feedback and usage metrics to identify pain points
Deliver long-term, large-scale solutions requiring vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical thinking
Drive product roadmap definition and prioritization
Partner with HBT teams to understand customer needs and influence adoption of new services
Manage bottlenecks, escalation management, tradeoffs, technical constraints, and business benefits
Lead sprint playbacks and retrospectives to meet business expectations and continuously improve team velocity and quality

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar field
5+ years of experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition, feature delivery, and product tradeoffs
5+ years of experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and product strategy
5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology
Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum and Lean environment in a Product Owner role
Excellent competency in product/project management tools
Ability to synthesize user feedback and data to make data-driven decisions
Ability to prioritize competing priorities and juggle several work streams with multiple stakeholders
Understanding of key information technology solutions and practices
Strong business acumen and ability to translate new technology into business value
Ability to create a result-oriented Management Operating System
Ability to deliver on complex situations or problems
Creative and collaborative problem-solving capability
Ability to convey specific, observable, and measurable expectations
Ability to drive “fast and right” results in a matrixed environment
Ability to make timely decisions in complex situations
