About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions supporting data-driven decision-making
Design, deploy, and maintain moderate to complex data models, extracts, subject area marts, stored procedures, and self-service reporting tools
Develop and maintain reports, data visualizations, and interactive dashboards
Communicate with stakeholders and leadership regarding the design, implementation, validation, and governance of business intelligence solutions
Maintain and support electronic medical record business intelligence data models, functions, and reports
Participate in and support software upgrades
Document technical and business specifications
Perform testing and data validation for data governance and solution maintenance
Perform data analysis supporting clinical, financial, and operational performance improvement initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of work-related experience required
2 years of SQL query development required
2 years of data visualization development using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar software required
4 years of experience in data modeling, report development, data reporting, or data analysis required
Epic Clarity Data Model certification: must complete Epic’s training and successfully gain initial certification within three attempts
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Informatics, or related discipline preferred
1 year of Crystal Reports development preferred
1 year of experience working with healthcare data preferred
