About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide patient-related care tasks based on growth and development principles across the lifespan
- Provide and collaborate on direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed caregiver
- Assist with personal care, activities of daily living, vital signs, intake and output, ambulation, interventions, and selected portions of patient care plans
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to licensed caregivers
- Maintain accurate medical record documentation
- Address or direct questions and concerns from patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members
- Float to HonorHealth locations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Completion of Block 1 in Nursing OR Medical Assistant (MA) OR Nursing Assistant (NA) OR Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) OR Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) OR 6 months of experience in the healthcare setting within the last year Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification Required
- 6 months in acute care experience Preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Certification Preferred
- Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT) - License Emergency Medical Tech Preferred
- Weekend and Holiday Rotations are required
- Ability to work PRN day shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts from 6:00AM–6:30PM
