About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical and engineering positions across the US
  • Partner with US-based hiring managers and business leaders to understand technical requirements, project needs and workforce plans
  • Develop and implement targeted sourcing strategies for specialist technical talent
  • Identify and engage active and passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, professional networks, industry databases and other sourcing channels
  • Recruit for specialist positions across engineering, manufacturing, automation, validation, quality, project management and other technical disciplines
  • Review technical CVs and assess candidates against technical, industry and role-specific requirements
  • Conduct initial screening, competency-based interviews and candidate assessments
  • Build and maintain pipelines of qualified technical professionals
  • Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and US-based hiring managers
  • Manage offers, salary expectations, negotiations, references and pre-employment requirements
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity within the ATS
  • Provide recruitment updates and reports to hiring managers and internal stakeholders
  • Provide market intelligence on candidate availability, compensation expectations, skills shortages and recruitment trends
  • Develop relationships with technical professionals and specialist talent communities
  • Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives
  • Ensure recruitment activities comply with company policies, employment legislation and applicable data protection requirements
  • Work independently, attend virtual meetings and interviews, and communicate regularly with geographically distributed stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 3 years of professional recruitment experience
  • Previous recruitment experience within the pharmaceutical, biomedical or medical device industry
  • Experience recruiting technical and/or engineering professionals
  • Strong understanding of technical talent markets within regulated industries
  • Experience recruiting specialist positions rather than exclusively high-volume or generalist positions
  • Ability to understand technical job descriptions and evaluate engineering and technical CVs
  • Strong sourcing skills, including LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search techniques
  • Proven experience conducting candidate screening and interviews
  • Experience partnering directly with US-based hiring managers and business stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities independently in a remote environment
  • Experience using an ATS and maintaining accurate recruitment data
  • Strong understanding of technical salary expectations and US recruitment market conditions
  • Ability and willingness to work Monday–Friday aligned with US East Coast business hours
  • Reliable home working environment and ability to work independently
  • Experience recruiting in areas such as Automation & Controls, DeltaV, DCS, PLC/SCADA, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Validation, CSV, CQV, Commissioning, MES, Quality Engineering, Project Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or Equipment Engineering is highly advantageous
