About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and articulate a clear, strategic point of view for content aligned with brand identity, business goals, and user needs
- Lead content strategy deliverables from discovery through execution and optimization across client engagements
- Analyze performance data and user behavior to uncover insights for content decisions and optimization
- Conduct industry and competitive reviews to identify content gaps and strategic opportunities
- Perform content audits and gap analyses against business objectives
- Build and maintain content inventories for site migration planning, information architecture design, and content governance
- Partner with SEO specialists to integrate search best practices into content strategies
- Collaborate with the Practice Lead to grow the content strategy discipline, service offerings, tools, and team development
- Collaborate with strategists, UX designers, developers, and project managers to shape and execute content strategies
- Lead ongoing retainer programs and new consulting engagements using a platform-agnostic approach
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7–10 years of content strategy experience, ideally within an agency or consulting environment
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
- Proficiency with content management systems, keyword research tools, and SEO fundamentals
- Willingness and ability to apply AI-driven techniques to the content strategy process
- Strong storytelling and content presentation skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders
- Advanced organizational and time-management abilities
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace tools, and analytics platforms
- Experience with Agile methodology is a plus
