Drive System Design output across the team
Design and implement innovative software systems and APIs focused on scalability, security, and performance
Collaborate with Product and Data Science to unlock opportunities and deliver seamless customer experiences
Mentor mid-to-senior-level engineers

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available and high-performing distributed systems
Proven track record building public-facing consumer-grade APIs
Experience managing API versioning, deprecation, and consumption-based rate limiting
Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Kotlin or similar modern backend languages, React, and AWS
Strong grasp of software design principles, scalability, and system architecture
Prioritization of Domain-Driven Design
Deep experience with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or comparable tools
Understanding of agentic workflows, building a harness, and structuring a codebase for agents
Active daily use of agentic coding tools and a point of view on their appropriate use and team defaults
