About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Triage and resolve engineering escalations
Review and ship fixes across the technology stack
Prioritize and resolve end-user software bugs using TypeScript, Node, and React
Execute Postgres database changes to unblock workflows
Partner with product and engineering teams to address root causes and product gaps
Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and internal processes
Monitor system performance and identify potential issues using Grafana and Sentry
Participate in escalation and on-call rotations and lead incident resolutions
Review teammates' pull requests and provide feedback on correctness, risk, and maintainability
Own engineering projects from scoping through delivery, focusing on tooling and fixes that reduce recurring escalations

Requirements

What you’ll need

3 years experience building and maintaining production software
Degree in computer science or a related field
Experience with TypeScript, Node, React, and Postgres
Experience with Grafana and Sentry
Ability to leverage AI tooling and agents while maintaining high-quality code
Ability to investigate unfamiliar code and production data to identify root causes
Ability to communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical partners
Ability to assess production risk and determine when to fix, escalate, or involve another team
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving development environment
