About the role

Define the vision for the product design function and align it with the company’s mission and objectives
Lead and scale a high-performing design organization
Mentor and develop design leaders and foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and growth
Oversee design strategies that drive innovation, enhance user experience, and deliver measurable business results
Collaborate with executive leadership and product management, engineering, and marketing teams
Integrate design throughout the product development process
Champion design thinking and user-centered product development
Establish KPIs to monitor design initiatives and use data-driven insights to improve outcomes
Drive development and scaling of a generative design system
Identify new design processes, tools, and technologies that enhance competitive advantage

Requirements

What you’ll need

15+ years of experience in product design, with at least 10 years in a leadership role managing large design teams
Experience working with SaaS / Fintech platforms
Track record of integrating AI and emerging technologies into organizational strategy and operations to accelerate innovation and scale
Experience successfully leading design teams in developing innovative, customer-focused products at scale
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and design systems
Experience collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to influence product strategy and drive business growth
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and grow a high-performance design team
Strong communication and influence, with the ability to advocate for design at the executive level and drive cross-functional collaboration
Strategic thinking balancing visionary design leadership with operational efficiency and execution
Deep understanding of design metrics and data-driven decision-making
Understanding and personal mastery of how designers use AI successfully in the agentic development process
